Great Ovedje Ogboru: The Deputy State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Delta State, Hon. Ayomanor playing host to a team of online political writers in his home in Sapele, spoke on the undwindling popularity of the People’s General, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru.
According to the APC Chieftain, the APC Gubernatorial Candidate whom he said won the 2019 governorship election glaringly, still remains the most loved politician in Delta State.
In his words, Hon. Engr. E.O. Ayomanor said, “Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru political clout compares to none in the entire Delta State.
He remains the most popular politician in Delta State with a teeming crowd of admirers, who do not waiver in their loyalty and support over the hears. He’s loved by the electorates beyond imagination.
For those who feel Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru could be loosing his popularity and favour over time, I feel so pity and sorry for them, cause not even in their wildest dreams would that happen.
The People’s General is increasing in popularity by the day. If u doubt, I’m a living testimony, I was not one of his supporters, but today I’m not only his supporter, I love him just like the majority of other Deltans.
Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru is a man with a big heart. He has become an ideology, not just an individual. He’s the chief determinant factor that regulates the dynamics of the political spheres in Delta State”.
In response to the governorship tribunal judgement, this is what the DSC has to say, ” I really don’t like commenting on that sham of a judgement, it is a shame that at this stage of our lives as a people and as a nation, our judicial system is still having some disgruntled elements who put their selfish ends ahead of our collective development and growth as a nation.
But the good thing is that, my hope and confidence in the judiciary cannot be dashed by a few who have sold their consciences to the devil.
Unlike the Pre-PMB administration, the present leadership of the judiciary is poised at bringing in sanity into the Nigerian System.
I have so much confidence in the Chief Justice of the Federation and the Minister of Justice’s determination to restore the lost glory of the judiciary.
I want to reassure all Deltans who came out en masse to vote for the People’s General, that our mandate cannot be stolen, our mandate will be returned to us by the courts.
Deltans Voted for Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru / APC and that cannot be changed. Ogboru won the elections convincingly, it was a landslide victory for Chief Ogboru and the APC.
I believe the judges at the Appellate and Supreme Courts, will upturn that sham of a judgement that was given in error by the Justice Belgore’s panel at the tribunal in Asaba.
When asked about the rumour of betrayal and disunity rocking APC in the state, Hon. Ayomanor told the online reporters that, those were fake rumours being propagated and peddled by the opposition party PDP, to make it look as if APC actually lost the elections due to such betrayals and disunity.
“I want u all to know today that there was no such disunity amongst us before the elections, we were very much intact, only those PDP moles in our midst tried to create such disunity, but we were quick to identify them, and they immediately left us in disappointment and went back to their parent stock, the PDP”
Hon. Ayomanor, said they prepared themselves, worked very hard and won the governorship election.
He denied any betrayal from any Leader of the party, “we worked in oneness and won together, but PDP in their usually way of rigging elections since they have been rejected by the electorates, they wrote fictitious figures and start propagating such betrayal rumours to make it look like we had an issue that gave them the opportunity of defeating us.
As a party, we worked together and defeated Okowa/PDP in a landslide victory. And our mandate will be recovered and restored by the courts”
