The senator representing Delta central senatorial zone at the National Assembly, The Obarisi of Urhobo land, Senator Ovie Omo Agege, has stated that he does not have any uncompleted constituency projects in the senatorial zone.
He made this statement at Jesse town, Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta state, while on consultation visit to the leaders, elders, LGA executives, ward executives and party faithfuls in the Local Government Area.
Senator Ovie Omo Agege who was also accompanied by the people’s general, Chief Great Ogboru, informed the people that with the little resources allocated to him as their senator for constituency projects, he and his team have ensured that they distributed it for projects in the eight Local Government Areas and ensured they are at all times, either completed or ongoing.
“In coming days, we shall go round these projects and commission them for the good of our people”, he said.
He emphasized the importance of electing Olorogun Great Ovedje Ogboru as Governor of Delta State, Stating that the projects he, Senator Ovie Omo Agege has done for constituency are very insignificant when compared to what a governor gets to advance his state.
“I have to state this clearly, with the few money we got, we were able to develop these projects, just imagine what would happen if we had the Governor. What we get is very insignificant compared to what the governor gets. This is why I appeal to you to support Chief Great Ogboru for Governor. This will ensure victory for the party and development for the state”.
He told the people to be mindful of mandate thieves at all levels. “Like the devil they are never relaxed. We must not let them steal our mandate again. We would do our best, you should also do your best to relegate them to where they belong”.
Senator Ovie Omo Agege has visited seven out of the Eight local government areas in Delta Central on consultation visit.
