Federal Government social intervention program, N-Power, has commenced payment of stipends to batches A and B beneficiaries today, Wednesday, August 19, after 79 days protests by aggrieved beneficiaries.
Confirming the N-power June and July stipends payment, a beneficiary of the social intervention program identified as Ibrahim Muhammed, said he could authoritatively confirm the payment.
Also confirming the payment of the N-power June and July stipends payment, the Lagos chapter of the Federal Government social intervention scheme, N-Power, wrote on social media network, Facebook:
However, the payment of the N-power June and July stipends by the Federal Government is coming three days after Sadiya Umar Farouq.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development revealed that beneficiaries will receive their unpaid stipends before the on boarding of the new beneficiaries.
The Minister had tweeted: “The N-Power Batch C application portal closed on Sunday, August 9, 2020, after receiving over 5m applications.
“As we embark on the review process, efforts are in high gear to clear the stipends for Batch A and B before on boarding the new set of beneficiaries,” the tweet added.
