OGBORU 2023: It’s not in my person to respond to every Dick, Harry and Oliver exhibiting their folly in the public in the guise of mockery especially when they’re paid to carry such smearing job.
I wouldn’t stoop low engaging in such altercations, but for the sake of gullible, innocent and the ignorant demographics in our society, the need to set things aright become imperative as against Olorogun Great Ovedje Ogboru.
The anchor of Pararan Mock News Channel came up with falsify claims that Olorogun Great Ovedje Ogboru popularly known as the People’s General has been gunning for the governorship seat since 1999, this is absolutely wrong. He begged him not to run in 2023, citing instances that people have died in his struggle over the years…this also is absolutely wrong, incorrect and misleading.
He’s strength cannot only be seen in his state (Delta) wide popularity cum acceptability, but also predicated on his ideology to win on a free, fair, and credible bases. He valued the lives of all deltans and would rather pursue his mandate in the court of law than kill his way to power.
Pararan and his pay master should acknowledge the fact that Chief Ogboru remain the only face of opposition in Delta State. He can make mockery by casting aspersions on a good man whose sole ideology is to liberate Deltans from the hands of its captor.
The fact remains that Chief Ogboru has brought so many with modicum or no influence in politics to political limelight… Evidently, in 2011, his party (DPP) produced ten legislators in the state assembly and a senator to represent the district. The current Deputy Senate President came through his rank in 2015 and Ethiope East LGA remain the birthright of the opposition party in the state assembly.
Constitutionally, everybody who meet the requirements are qualified to vote and be voted for….So Pararan and his paymaster should be ready to face deltans who desire quality change and stop this infantile shenanigans. A man with a vision like Chief Great Ogboru cannot be deterred with this petty mud hurling.
