Pastor Power Oghre, the councillorship candidate of Orogun State ward 4 on the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the forthcoming local government election slated for March 6, 2021, has hailed the appointment of Hon. Morris Idiovwa who is the Chairman Community Development Board of OML-30 over his appointment as Director General (DG), Delta State Local Content Agency by the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
Pastor Oghre who is also the Treasurer of Community Management Committee (CMC), in cluster 4 Kokori/Orogun oil field also commended Gov. Okowa for appointing one of the illustrious sons of Orogun Kingdom to work with him in moving the state to the next level of development.
However, in a statement signed and made available to newsmen recently, pastor Power Oghre said, Hon. Morris is a hardworking, dedicated and conscientious person worthy of emulation.
According to the statement, “I join the Idiovwa family in celebrating and prays for God Almighty to continue to give Ikovwa wisdom to pilot the affairs of the office being give to him by Governor Okowa to develop the state”
The document further read that, “Hon. Morris Idiovwa is a smart politician, a well behave young man, adding that he has also contributed to the development of many communities in the oil sector and the state at large.”
