One of the community leaders of Okere Urhobo Kingdom Warri, Warri South local government area Delta State, Comrade Oki Efe, has expressed anger over the emergence of Chief Emmanuel Okumagba as the Oroseun of Okere Urhobo Kingdom.
In an interview with newsmen in Warri, Comrade Oki Said due process was not follow since he was purportedly crown by people who are maternally related to the Kingdom.
Oki Said, “If Chief Emmanuel Okumagba is interested in the throne certainly not few days after the demise of one of our great sons of Okere Urhobo Kingdom, Chief Wilson Eboh, Otota of Okere Urhobo Kingdom.
He described the actions as a taboo since the kingdom is in a state of mourning.
Comrade Oki Efe disclosed that since the exercise was done in total disrespect for the lay down rules and regulations as specified in the Chief Edwin Uzor led Delta State Government Report on the resolution of the Okere Urhobo kingship tussle, it will be difficult for the Oki family which is the Sohworuvwe ruling house to recognize him (Chief Emmanuel Okumagba) as the Oroseun of Okere Urhobo Kingdom.
