

Recently, Hon. Oniyere recommended to the State Government that a secondary School be established in Sanubi Orogun.
Permission of recommendation was given from the State government as a team from the Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary School Education Board led by Dr. (Mrs) Obanovwe and Hon. Oniyere ably represented by his Personal Assistant (PA) Comrade Onodjae Eguono Pius on Wednesday 25 November, 2020 were on inspection visit and consultation with elders and leaders of Sanubi Community for a process of smooth take off of academic activities.
The Honourable Member representing the good people of Ughelli North Constituency 1 at the Delta State House of Assembly, Asaba, Hon (Barr) Charles Oniyere resolved to make the education of his constituents a priority.
Dr. Obanovwe requested that Sanubi community can commence voluntary academic activities for immediate Government approval and take over.
She added that by January 2021 they are coming to ascertain the level of preparedness by the community.
The recommendation for the establishment of Sanubi Secondary School was born out of the Honourable Member desire for all eligible school age Constituents to have access to quality education and using education as a vital tool to curb youth restiveness and enhancing human capital development.
Chief Alex Orogun, ex- President General of Sanubi Community assured the visitors of their readiness and thanked Charles Oniyere and the Delta State Education Inspection Team.
