The attention of party has been drawn to activities of some clique of blackmailers who have been launching unprovoked online attacks on the party leaders His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and State Chairman Prophet Jones Ode Erue, an action the party finds intolerable and condemns in its entirety.
Romans 13:1 ESV translation says: – Let every person be subject to the governing authorities (party leaders). For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
Titus 3:1 NLT: – Remind the believers (APC Party Faithful’s) to submit to the government and its officers (APC and party leaders). They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good.
1 Peter 2:13-14a NIV” – Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to Governors or to party leaders…
May we caution those involved in these unproductive and disgraceful acts of blackmail of our party leaders, to stop forthwith as their actions bore severe consequences.
Party faithfuls are further enjoined, to play by the rules and submit to constituted authorities in consonance, with biblical admonitions.
We urge you all to exercise restraint in your social media actions and show respect to one another, fear God, and honour party leaders and officials.
Let us all honour and respect our party leaders as responsible people by refraining from unbridled acts of blackmail/smear campaigns as currently promoted by certain identified individuals in our State chapter of the party.
By and large, the party condemns in totality all immoral conducts, impersonation, incitement and the promotion of ethnic jingoism by the enemies of the party bent on destroying our collective unity.
