Comrade Chidi Okonji, the aspirant for Delta State APC Chairman, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Dr. Mrs. Janet Oyubu, the pioneer Delta State APC Women Leader. This visit is a testament to Comrade Chidi Okonji’s commitment to building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the party.

Chief Dr. Janet Oyubu reminisced about the party’s foundational moments during their interaction. She highlighted her efforts in mobilizing women and mentioned hosting party faithful at her residence. Her contributions to the party’s growth and development were evident in her stories.

Chief Dr. Oyubu also shared a personal experience of a fatal motor accident during a mobilization trip. She lost her vehicle in the accident. Regrettably, despite her tireless efforts for the party, she has yet to receive compensation for the loss.

Chief Dr. Oyubu offered prayers for Comrade Chidi Okonji’s success in his chairmanship aspiration. She wished him divine guidance. She also wished good health as he takes on new responsibilities. She also counseled him to uphold the party’s tenets and adopt an inclusive leadership style.

The consultation visit was attended by notable dignitaries, including Hon. Obi Chief Chinwe Oduah, who is a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly. He also served as Commissioner for Commerce and Industry. Another attendee was Chief Lawrence Onovie Esiso, Chairman of Comrade Chidi Okonji’s Campaign Organization, among others.
