Orogun’s Chief Oghenegueke lauds the Monarch for receiving his staff of office, emphasizing the importance of unity and integrity in leadership.
Olorogun Richard Oghenegueke, the treasurer of the Orogun Council of Chiefs, has praised the traditional ruler of the Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Joseph Emoghene Osuokpa 1, for receiving his staff of office from the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
In his statement to Urhobo Daily, Chief Oghenegueke described the presentation of staff of office as a welcome and joyful development for the Orogun people.
He praised the Monarch, also known as Okpara-Uku of Orogun, for being committed, peaceful, and an honest traditional ruler, saying he is a man of integrity and an educator who stands for the unity of the kingdom.
“The king always stands for the truth and has the interest of his people at heart,” Oghenegueke said.
However, Oghenegueke assured the people that the King of the Kingdom will not disappoint, but bring development and take Orogun to the next level.
He ended the statement by calling on all sons and daughters of Orogun Kingdom, the Council of Chiefs, to continue to support the traditional ruler and rally around him at all times
