Senator Ede Dafinone congratulated them and emphasized unity, collaboration, and commitment to party values.

The newly elected executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sapele Local Government Area, led by the Chairman, Mr. Francis Okpigben, visited Senator Ede Dafinone yesterday. This visit followed the successful conclusion of the Local Government Congress that produced them.

During the meeting, Senator Ede Dafinone congratulated the executives on their emergence. He urged them to uphold unity and collaboration. This should be in line with the values of APC.

He charged them to remain committed to ensuring victory for all party candidates in the forthcoming elections. This includes President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, himself, and other APC flagbearers.

Ede Dafinone emphasized that the distinction between “legacy” and “new” members no longer exists. He noted that the harmonization achieved through the ward and local government congresses has strengthened cohesion within the party. This has been particularly effective in Delta State. This is particularly evident in Sapele. “We are now one united party,” he declared. He encouraged the executives to see themselves as partners. They should work toward a common goal.

Senator Ede Dafinone expressed optimism. He described the visit as the beginning of a new chapter for the APC in Sapele. It also marks a new chapter for Delta State as a whole. He tasked the executives with mobilizing members and voters. They were also asked to strengthen unity at the grassroots. Furthermore, he urged them to work diligently to secure the party’s victory in future elections.
