Oghenemine Ogidi’s killing raises alarm as video surfaces showing him pleading for life moments before his tragic death.

On April 26, 2026, musician Oghenemine Ogidi, also known as Mene or OG Millan, was shot and killed by ASP Nuhu Usman in Effurun, Delta State.

A widely circulated video showed Ogidi in handcuffs, pleading for his life before being shot at close range.

Earlier, he was arrested on suspicion of attempting to send a parcel containing a pistol and ammunition.

The Nigeria Police Force has dismissed ASP Usman and three inspectors involved in the incident.

However, the officers have been transferred to Abuja to face criminal prosecution.

Also, the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, confirmed that they will face murder charges.

The police disciplinary panel found serious violations of Force Order 237/247, which governs the use of firearms.
