Senator Ede Dafinone wishes Muslims a joyful Eid al-Fitr, highlighting the values of Ramadan and urging unity in communities.
Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has extended heartfelt felicitations to Muslims in his constituency. He extends his best wishes to Muslims across Nigeria. He also wishes Muslims around the world a joyous Eid al-Fitr.
However, in his message, Senator Dafinone described Eid al-Fitr as a celebration. It marks the successful completion of Ramadan. Ramadan is a sacred month devoted to fasting, reflection, sacrifice, and spiritual renewal. It also marks the beginning of the blessed month of Shawwal.
Ede highlighted the enduring values embodied by Ramadan. So, these include patience, compassion, discipline, and generosity. He urged Nigerians to carry these virtues beyond the holy month.
“As we celebrate Eid, I urge us all to sustain these virtues. Let us strengthen the bonds that unite us as families, communities, and a nation. We should also reach out to the less privileged in the true spirit of love and service,” he said.
Senator Dafinone emphasized that Eid al-Fitr is not only a time of joy but also of forgiveness, unity, and gratitude. He urged citizens to embrace peaceful coexistence. And stressed the importance of mutual respect. He encouraged collective responsibility in building a more just, inclusive, and compassionate society.
He therefore concluded his message with prayers for peace, joy, sound health, and abundant blessings for all.
“On behalf of my family and my team, I wish you a most fulfilling and memorable Eid celebration. Eid Mubarak!”
