However, Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive, who serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Rules and Business, is known for his strong representation of Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu Federal Constituency in Nigeria’s Federal House of Representatives.
Since first being elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023 on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, Waive has shown a strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and grassroots development. His “Seven Covenants” with constituents focus on being accessible, productive in legislation, bringing federal projects, and delivering real community improvements.
During his time in office, Waive has helped bring federal support to healthcare, infrastructure, and education, including establishing a Federal Medical Centre and launching youth empowerment programs. His work for rural development and defending his people’s rights has earned him respect throughout Delta State.
Waive is a clergyman, accountant, developer, and author who combines integrity with practical leadership. His book, “Road to the House,” tells the story of his journey and approach to service, highlighting his vision for positive change. About Rt. Hon. Francis Ejiroghene Waive
Waive was born in May 1966 in Ughelli South, Delta State. He earned a B.Sc. in Accounting from Edo State University and a Master’s in Legislative Studies from NILDS. Waive founded the Church of the Anointing (COTA) and Riverine Communities Health & Development Organisation (RIVCHO). However, he served as Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Power and is now Chairman of the House Committee on Rules and Business. Throughout his career, he has shown a strong commitment to both spiritual and public service.
