LEADERSHIP BASED ON SERVICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS

Leadership

Explore the true essence of Leadership defined by service and righteousness in God’s kingdom. Discover transformative principles.

Beloved, when we speak of God’s kingdom, we speak of a reign that is not built on earthly power but on righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17).

In God’s kingdom, leadership is service, and greatness is measured not by how many serve you, but by how many you serve.

Example:

  • Leadership in God’s kingdom is servant leadership (Mark 10:43–45).
  • Jesus washing the disciples’ feet (John 13:14–15).

But when we look at the leadership of nations, we often see a different picture: power pursued for self, authority used for gain, and justice neglected.

Yet Scripture reminds us: “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34).

A nation prospers when its leaders reflect the values of God’s kingdom, which are justice, mercy, humility, and truth. This is also inclusive in our churches today.

When leaders govern as stewards, accountable to God and to the people, the nation finds peace. But when leadership strays into pride, arrogance, bossiness, and oppression, the nation suffers.

Therefore, let us pray for our leaders, that they may walk in wisdom and humility.

Let us also remember that, as citizens of God’s kingdom and members of the church, we are called to be salt and light, shaping our nations with the values of heaven.

For ultimately, the kingdoms of this world will pass away, but the kingdom of our God shall endure forever.
