
The Nigeria Revenue Service has officially launched. This marks a new era in tax administration with the unveiling of the NRS identity.
The new tax regime has formally commenced operations. Yesterday in Abuja, Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), the new tax authority, unveiled its institutional brand identity.
NRS came into operation after the signing of its enabling law. This law is known as the Nigeria Revenue Service Establishment Act 2025. President Bola Tinubu signed it in June 2025.
During the unveiling of the logo in Abuja, the NRS Executive Chairman, Zacch Adedeji, spoke. He explained. He stated that the logo and other brand elements for NRS represent an important milestone. This marks the evolution of Nigeria’s revenue administration framework.
A statement was issued by his Special Adviser (Media), Dare Adekanmbi. He quoted him saying that “the unveiling of NRS identity shows a renewed commitment. It aims for a more unified, efficient, and service-oriented revenue system. This system is aligned with Nigeria’s economic transformation agenda and global best practices.”
According to him, the new identity “signals continuity of purpose.” It shows strengthened institutional capacity. It also reflects a forward-looking approach to supporting taxpayers and national development.” “The Nigeria Revenue Service stays committed to transparency, partnership, and service excellence.
The unveiling of this new identity is not an end. It’s the beginning of a strengthened relationship between the revenue authority and the Nigerian public. This relationship is built on trust, clarity, and shared prosperity,” the statement said.
