Nevertheless, respect is part of the culture of an individual society. It advances mutual respect for a peaceful and harmonious co-existence of all persons that make up any society. Disrespecting the hosts’ culture can lead to conflicts. It marks the beginning of crises and wars.

We must respect the culture and religion of others, regardless of our own beliefs or location. No human rights or law grants us the right to disrespect others’ culture or religion. Otherwise, we risk inciting war and bringing its consequences upon ourselves and innocent people around us.

You are Muslims, Christians, Confucianisms, or traditionalists. Regardless, you have the responsibility to respect the cultural, religious, or any other beliefs of your host community. This applies to any people, whether or not you personally believe in their beliefs. No deity or God will condemn your actions. You won’t face eternal damnation if you are not converted to beliefs that are not of your choice.

I should enter the territory of worshipers of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC). I can also witness cultural displays like the Eyo Masquerades. It is the rule if it is demanded. God requested Moses to remove his sandals when he entered his presence.

Violation of rules confers consequences on the individuals. Let us allow peace to reign. Somehow, In some cultures, we must remove our caps when entering a Christian church. The same applies to an Obas’ palace in Yoruba land. What does it cost us to do that willingly?

You have a choice. You can recede and return to where you are coming from. Avoid reneging to prevent unnecessary arguments, tension, and possible conflicts. No one has the right to violate the rights of others to peaceful existence.

It is necessary to Learn the culture and tradition of your host community. and holding its laws with respect to peaceful co-existence. Otherwise, move on to where you can do as you like. Make sure your acts are not antagonistic.

Ironically, we obey unseen deities without question. Yet, we ignore the laws, rules, and regulations of societies. We chose to live in these societies without compulsion.
