
Join the FMC Ovwian seminar on infection prevention and control to combat climate change diseases and enhance public health efforts.
The Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ovwian, is set to host a seminar. This is organized through the Department of Community Medicine and Public Health. The seminar is titled “Infection Prevention & Control (IPC): A Panacea to Climate Change Diseases.”
This FMC Ovwian seminar will focus on disease outbreaks that are linked to climate change. It will also tackle poor infection control practices. These include Viral Hemorrhagic Fever, COVID-19, diarrhoeal diseases, meningitis, diphtheria, and tuberculosis (TB).
