HAVE ARSENAL BOTTLED THE LEAGUE TITLE?

Arsenal

Arsenal recent draws and missed opportunities have allowed rivals to close the gap. That’s where the “bottled it” narrative starts gaining volume. But bottling a league means a full collapse and losing control completely, falling apart under pressure. Arsenal are still fighting. They’re still within touching distance. That’s not a collapse.

It’s also worth remembering how brutal the Premier League is where there are no easy fixtures anymore. Teams fighting relegation scrap for every point. Mid-table clubs play like finals against title contenders. One bad half of football can define weeks of headlines.

The real pressure comes from chasing perfection while going up against a machine like Manchester City. When you’re competing against a side that can win 10–15 games in a row without blinking, every dropped point feels like disaster.

The bigger question isn’t whether Arsenal have bottled it. The real question is whether they can handle the psychological pressure of the run-in. Title races are won in the mind as much as on the pitch.

If they finish second after leading comfortably, critics will shout “bottle” again. If they lift the trophy, this conversation disappears instantly.
